5/1/07 5 Magics School of Motocross will be holding a 2 day class at ADV May 12-13. Go to www.5MMXS.COM for sign up or call Carrell for more info at 830-626-7571. The cost is $300.00. I have heard fantastic things about this place so if you're a beginner or need some skill honing come on out!

4/17/07-Alright you asked for it and now you got it. Minis now have their own personal practice. It will be held on Thursdays from about the same hours as Wednesday night practices but there will be only be an hour or two of lights. Starting this Wednesday (unless we get rained out) minibikes will no longer be allowed on the main track during Wednesday night practices.

4/12/07-Woods Fun Center is having a customer appreciation ride day tonight on an unprepped track. Come out, ride and leave the tab on Woods (I do believe you need to be invited or something though so please call Woods to be sure).

3/8/07-Concessions are now available at back side of the sign in tower. We offer hot dogs, chili dogs, chips and drinks. You can still bring your own grill and food of course. See ya there!

1/28/07-Got the new pics from the race up! Go check em out and see if you made the cut...

2/21/07-I got the results for the 2/18/07 Second Round up. Check em out under Results. Oh and guys. I'm not the one in charge of the results but I get them on the site as soon as they are e-mailed to me. Asking me where they are doesn't speed up the internet. See you tonight!

2/13/07-Because of Vaentine's Day and predicted low temperatures on Wednesday and Thurday nights, practice is rescheduled for Tuesday night. Sorry for the late notice but Dennis felt this was the best decision.

1/27/07-New schedule from Dennis-"Round 1 is at Cross Creek Feb 4, 2007
Round 2 is at ADVMX Feb 18, 2007 I know this is on top of Whitney but we don't have any other options.
Round 3 is at Cycle Ranch Feb 25, 2007" We are also open Sunday (1/28/07) for regular practice.

1/10/07-The updated Triple Crown schedule is now posted on the home page. It is as follows:
Round 1 ADVMX Jan 21st
Round 2 Cross Creek Feb 4th
Round 3 Cycle Ranch Feb 25th
Rain date March 4th

1/4/07-Well if you feel like banging your head against a wall, so do we. We've been riding deprived thanks to what has turned out to be the equivalent of monsoon season in Texas. Why must it only rain on practice days? Dennis decided to cut his losses for this weekend and shoot for a more promising date. The date hasn't been set yet but I will update you asap.

12/27/06-The Triple Crown Series is back! It will start at ADV on January 7th then move on to Cross Creek on the 21st, then end with Cycle Ranch February 25th. Hope to see you guys there!

12/19/06-There's a cold front that may come in this weekend so until we know for sure what that's going to do, just go with "if the weather holds up there will be practice." Also, The practice for Wednesday night may be rescheduled for Thursday if it rains. Just keep the track phone on speed dial! (512) 417-3753

11/28/3006-Cameron's ride day has officially been moved to December 16th due to races scheduled by Cross Creek and Cycle Ranch. To ensure the largest turnout possible it has been moved exactly one week forward. Hope you all can make it!!!

11/13/2006-Practice will be cancelled for Saturday November 18. Andrew Stackhouse will be running a Cyclocross Race. Spectators are free so come out and check it out! Oh and don't forget about Cameron's Dide Day on December 9th!

10/27/06-Friday night practices slowly started ending about a month ago and as of the end of the SNL series they are now completely gone. Reasons for this are numerous and include, but are not limited to, low turnout, colder nights and lack of rain which equalled higher costs of prepping. The rain issue has been solved but with the coming of winter Dennis is convinced that the turnouts are sure to fade and the weekend practices will become popular once more.

10/23/06-Dennis said this for the riders of last week's Wednesday night practice "For those of you who feel they didn't get enough ride time before the rain let us know at the gate and we'll give you a discount for the next ride(half price)." Also, the ride day for Cameron Woldhagen will now be on December 9th, not the earlier proposed Nov 11.

10/05/06-The Sunday schedule is as follows.
Gates open at 6:00am
Sign up starts at 6:30am and ends at 8:30am
Practice is at 7:30am
First gate drops at 9:00am.
Also, from 9am-3pm on Saturday there will be a fully prepped practice. See ya there!

9/23/06-The race was rained out (as if you didn't already know)! So now the race is rescheduled for October 21st October 8th. It will be a day race.  See ya there!

9/19/06-It was 20 days between the one before and the last one and it's been about 3 hours since now and the last one. But this is some very interesting and profitable news. Utopia goggles will be at ADV on Friday and there's gonna be a dash for cash! Actually a dash for goggles but cash rhymes. Anyway, there will 65, 80, 125 and 250 classes. What's goin on is that everybody, sans experts, will be piled into one class and it's gonna be a free for all one moto insanity race for a free pair of brand new Utopia goggles!!! It's a free entry for all, and will be held sometime during the Friday night practice, this Friday. Come on out to at the very least see some great racing.

9/19/06-Well it's been about 20 days since anything noteworthy has happened at ADV but finally I have some new news. This is an update from Dennis about the schedule for Saturday.
"Wednesday(9-20) practice 5-10pm
Friday (9-22) practice 6-10pm

Saturday(9-23) race day
Gates open 3:00
Signup-4:00-6:30
Practice-5:30-6:45
Riders meeting 6:45
Racing starts 7:00pm

Sunday practice 9-5 unprepped
Camping is allowed Friday and Saturday #10/vehicle/night

We will be running a very tight schedule on Saturday due to all of the awards/contingencies that need to be distributed so please be on time.

Thanks,
Dennis"
Also, the much anticipated Cyclocross series is set to begin in October. The practice race was supposed to be tonight, but because of rain it will be postponed until next Tuesday. Same time, same place. See ya there!

8/30/06-The series results have been updated to include the 8/27 race. Go check em out! And I am aware that the dates are out of order. I figured that one out when the 15th person e-mailed me notifying me of their misplacement. I can't do much to fix it, as it would take till about the next race to fix em all. There are also a bunch of new pics up, and you might notice a little ADV logo in the corners. Yes I stole the idea from Transworld...what are you gonna do about it?

8/25/06-To support Cycle Ranch and the 6th round of the Saturday Night Ligths series, we will only be running prepped on Friday night practice this whole weekend. There will be a small amount of water sprayed on the track on Sunday.

8/17/06-The SNL series results have been updated to include the 5th race, the second at Cross Creek. See how you or your buddies did! Also, there is an ADVMX newsletter. Wanna get the latest without even logging on the internet? Send me a line at rchapman@advmxpark.com and I'll hook you up!

8/10/06-We will be closed from the 11th-13th. From Dennis-"Most of you know that Chris broke his collarbone a few weeks ago and because of this we have fallen behind with some track changes, sand addition and maintenance issues. With Cross Creek racing the fifth round of the SNL series we decided to close the track down to help their numbers while addressing some of our issues."

7/31/06-Tons of sand and a new jump have been added to ADV. Come out and check it out! Oh and there's been a rumored appearance of Pro rider Ryan Haring showing up on Wednesday night.Come out, get some autographs and watch him blaze the fastest trail around our humble track.

7/26/06-ADVMX regulars, JJ Pecsok and Ryan Haring (you probably know them as "that really fast guy on a Kawa #884" and "that really fast guy on a Yamaha #298," respectively), are riding the rest of the National series. Unfortunately, neither qualified at Thunder Valley, but Ryan must have done something right! He landed a spot on Team PDL, temporarily in place of the injured Casey Clark. Read the full story here, on RacerX.

7/25/06-Quads are now allowed on the Vet. track and trails on normal practice days!!! Come on out and have some four wheeled fun. Also, the series standings from round three are in, but not up. Hang tight, I will post them shortly.

6/16/08- The additions to 183 are completed! This means no Cameron or 290 light!!! This is huge news for 183 South users, like me. Also Texas 130/45 section is complete and now their is an exit on Pearce lane.

  • I added an update page to advmxpark.com
  • Always check the pics on Thursdays and Fridays after a Wed night practice! I usually take pics and you might get your 15 minutes of fame.
  • As a result of the new Fri. night practice, Saturdays will be unprepped and will cost $10/bike
  • There is discount packaging. Info can be found here
  • There are bathrooms with showers in the trailer by the entrance (it's been there awhile but just didn't want to miss anything).
  • If you haven't been out for a while the sand is deep and fun and the track flows better than ever. We continue to tweak the jumps to make them as fun and safe as possible.

Did I forget something?
