Tyler Juarez #769

MX is a way of life and fortunately we're able to enjoy it every weekend at ADVMX. However, some riders are more then just weekend warriors and are committed to making it to the PRO level and one such rider is our very own Tyler Juarez #769.

So check out this video and watch Tyler take a few laps around ADVMX.   Also read the Q&A below to see what makes him tick.

Inside Tyler Juarez Helmet:

1. How long have you been riding at ADVMX? I've been riding at ADVMX since it first open! I'm not quite sure how we heard about it

2. Who’s your favorite PRO rider? Umm I don't really have a number one favorite because there's a lot of good riders. It the 450s I'd probably have to say Dungey or Darnard and the lites I would say Bogle or Baggett

3. Would you rather be a SX or MX Champion? As of right now I'd rather be an outdoor champion because that's what I'm good at and because it’s much more physical demanding!

4. What’s your number and why? My number is 769 because my dad was born In '71 and my Mom was born in '69, since you can't have a 4 digit MX number I cam up with 769.

5. Who introduced you to riding? My dad introduced me to riding but I had a good neighbor that really got me wanting to ride. His name was Justin "JT" Taylor. He died a few years back from a bad MX crash.

6. What’s your favorite part of the track? My favorite part of ADVMX isn’t really the track it's self it's the people around the track. They make every visit awesome!

7. The perfect day is when (fill in the blank)? The perfect day is when I get to ride! Haha any ride is just about perfect unless you’re not riding good!

8. What particular skills are you working on improving now? Skills I'm currently working on would be my corners just because you can never have to much corner speed!

9. What are you riding now and what would you like to ride? I'm currently riding Honda and I’m not sure what I could see myself on next. I'll ride anything if I can get a ride!

10. What’s your latest MX splurge you bought? Latest riding expense would probably be buying my CR250! Got to love them 2 smokers haha.

11. Name one thing most people don’t know about you. The thing that most people don't know about me.. Hmmm... Would probably have to say that I love country music! Born

and raised in Texas!!!

12. Any superstitions before you ride? I would say the only thing I do is "knock on wood" If I ever talk about crashing or getting hurt.

13. What has racing taught you? Racing has taught me so much! I could probably go all day on that subject but I would say a few of them would be respect, friendship, and not being so shy! Haha

14. Name one or two little rituals you do before you ride? Little things I do before I ride is pray for a safe day and stretch.

15. What’s the latest book or magazine you read? Transworld!

16. If I’m not at the track, I’m (fill in the blank).” If I'm not at the track I'm hanging out with friends, working out, or playing xbox haha.

17. Who would you like to thank? I would like to thank:
