Dennis Goering, Track Owner

In 2003, Dennis recognized that Austin needed a MX park and that need fueled the vision to create what is now ADVMX. Now, almost seven years later, the track has changed and evolved, but Dennis' underlying passion to provide a challenging and safe MX park for local area riders has not. As a result, were extremely fortunate to have a high quality MX track, right in Austin's backyard, where we all can twist the throttle and enjoy the ride. In addition to being an avid rider Dennis' other interest include wake surfing, snowboarding and checking out Austin's live music scene.

Chris Ibey, CTO (Chief Track Officer)

Chris Ibey is a "Wizard" when it comes to creating and maintaining the ADVMX tracks and he is truly skilled and equally comfortable on a Caterpillar as he is on his Yamaha YZ450. So, when Chris is not refacing jumps or busy prepping the track then you will probably see him riding, testing and enjoying the track. Make no mistake, Chris is a VERY fast and a talented rider and you would be hard pressed to find anyone who can build and maintain a MX track and also post some fast lap times too. When he's not at the track, Chris also enjoys kayaking in the local rivers and streams and fishing at the coast.  UPDATE: In a freak accident Chris recently broke his tibia on  his left leg and will be out for 4-6 weeks. So we all can learn from his accident and beware of the riders in front of you especially over blind jumps and always wear your protective gear. Heal up Chris and and we can't wait for your return.

Matt Stanger, Pro Everything

ADVMX is also very lucky to have Matt Stanger helping out to prep the tracks every weekend. As of building this site, Matt is healing from a crash where he broke his collar bone and we miss him at the track. So, until he can get back to riding he's busy with his tree company or fishing at the coast or playing his bass guitar. Rest up Matt and we cant wait to see you back at the track. UPDATE: Matt is back riding now albeit very carefully but it's a start and its good to see him back on his bike. Also, he will be prepping the track for us while Chris is healing. Thanks Matt!

Lali Flores-Cavender, "Show Me the Money"

Lali "Show Me The Money" has been part of ADVMX for many years and can tell you about all it's history. Lali is also responsible for collecting all the track fees and running the concession stand during the races. Everyone loves Lali  and when she's not taking care of her new son "DJ", she likes to relax with a good movie.

Saul Arizpe, ADVMX Webmaster

My name is Saul Arizpe and I absolutely love everything about MX (except crashing!)and I'm excited about working on this new website. I discovered ADVMX in the summer of 2009 and got totally hooked.  I really like the rush of hitting a rutted turn perfectly and all the jumps at the track too. Or simply riding with my son, Bryson on the Vet track and watching/helping him progress. I also like the workout I get from riding all day, so for me it's the perfect way to exercise and have fun with my friends. Besides MX, I enjoy golf, photography, waterskiing, the movies and working on this  website. So if you have any ideas to make it better stop me at the track and/or email me at webmaster@advmxpark.com
